We're calling everyone to join us again on the weekend of the 6th-7th of March 2010 for "Climb the Mountain" at Hochjoch in Montafon. This is the 5th year that this exciting event is taking place, but this time, both snowboarders AND ski tourers will meet up for a weekend full of fun.

That's right, we're inviting even more ski-lovers to come and join us, because, ultimately, we all love doing the same thing: climbing mountains! Therefore, EVERYONE is invited, no matter if you want to use splitboards, ski shoes, short skis or touring skis. The only requirement is that you climb yourself...!

"Climb the Mountain" brings together all different kinds of ski tourers and offers the possibility to meet new people and, of course, have loads of fun in the mountains together!

There will be two different leagues. Of course, it wouldn't be fair to have snowboarders and ski tourers competing against each other. Instead, you'll be competing together. However, there will be two champions at the end.

Everyone who's participated before knows that at "Climb the Mountain" everything runs a bit differently. The winners get a trophy, but the star prizes will be raffled off between all participants. The prizes will vary according to people's climbing equipment - snowboard tourers can hope to win a first-class 'Burton S-Series' snowboard and one lucky ski tourer will take home a pair of high-quality 'Powder Equipment' skis.

On the first day, the main events will be the race and the raffle. On Sunday, it's all about the MountainExpo. A selection of suppliers for Splitboards Europe will demonstrate their latest equipment on both days. During the MountainExpo, you can, for example, check out and test ABS airbag backpacks or the latest PIEPS avalanche transcievers. Of course, the best splitboard on the market, the Burton S-Series, will also be available to take for a test ride.

We're looking forward to seeing some new faces and, of course, to meeting YOU at Hochjoch in Montafon.
